ONLINE WORKSHOP: CREATING STRATEGIES FOR CALMER PARENTING
We want to give our children a childhood full of connection and calm. We want to meet our children in their emotions, give them the respect and empathy they deserve in whatever they may be doing. And we want to show up as whole humans, leading by example for them, for ourselves.
I think we’ve all felt it. The helplessness of being stuck in a cycle we can’t get out of. The frustration that we try not to feel. Sometimes we snap when we didn’t want to. Sometimes we might zone out in order to cope. And sometimes we can end the day feeling defeated and frustrated by the way our days panned out.
The way we parent is caught up in a lot of things; the things going on beneath the surface, the way we were parented as children, the grind of the day to day. It’s difficult to untangle ourselves from some of these, and even harder to allow ourselves the step back we need to really dig into some of the why’s and how’s of when the frustrations begin to bubble.
This workshop isn’t about guilt, or feeling bad about when these feelings arise. It’s about finding the space to figure out some steps that feel good to take in times of stress, anxiety and frustration. It’s a workshop about kindness to ourselves, and our children.
In this 90 minute workshop I’ll give you the space to work through the some of the daily difficulties, and help you to form useful and realistic strategies for when frustrations start to rise. We’ll be covering self care and inner work, as well as the power of practical planning in helping us to show up as calmer parents for our kids.
You’ll get a printable workbook of prompts to work through during the live video, a written version of the workshop with resources and extra reading for you to keep, as well as a recorded version of the live workshop.
Can’t make the live time? You’ll be sent the video afterwards to watch in your own time.
Together we wIll:

Dissipate the guilt from the times when, despite our best intentions, we do struggle (we are all human, after all!)
