BirTh Is the beginning, but Postpartum is the foundation on which a whole lifetime of mothering rests.

The sacred window, the fourth trimester, the first forty days. It is said that the first forty days after birth set the stage for the mother’s next forty years. One of the things I see said most commonly about postpartum care is; “I wish I’d known about this when I had a baby”.

But what if you weren’t able to honour that time? The thing is postpartum is forever. We don’t have to just move on, or wait until we have another baby. Once you have birthed you are always postpartum. It’s irreversible, you cannot go back but only through. Postpartum and its principles are there for a lifetime.

Everyday we are offered opportunities to treat ourselves with the care and reverence that a forever postpartum mother deserves, and to invite in that care externally and in reciprocity from our communities.

Join me for a ninety minute workshop on Saturday 3rd September at 10am AEST

Whether your baby is six months, six years or sixteen, you can reclaim the sacred postpartum you deserve.

It is time for us to celebrate the mothers as well as the babies, to honour postpartum in it’s every many forms, and the transformational power held mothers can have on our families, our communities and our world.

Together we’ll explore

  • the principles of postpartum and how we can return to and reclaim these

  • ways to create self care, ritual and intention in everyday motherhood with our children

  • creating and inviting community care into our lives

  • postnatal depletion and repletion

  • the energetics of being forever postpartum

  • honouring the seasons of our lives, our inner cycles and the wheel of the year as mothers and women

No matter how long ago you birthed, this workshop is for you if you feel like you missed out on the postpartum you wished you had; you don’t know how to carve our self care and community care in your daily life; you’re feeling depleted and burnt-out after early postpartum has passed; you want to honour and treat yourself as a cyclic being who is forever postpartum.
