A ceremonial oil to invoke the triple goddess and honour your womb.

Chamomile, motherwort, mugwort - all associated with a facet of the triple goddess - and marshmallow root extracted into cold pressed black sesame oil, with castor oil.

An Imbolc offering, created to nurture and nourish your womb space, with herbs carefully chosen to honour and invoke the spirits of Maiden, Mother and Crone.

Chamomile:
To invoke the Maiden. Associated with purity, although an herb of the Sun, Chamomile’s medicinal qualities are aligned with the Moon - governing the gastrointestinal system, emotional body and the nervous system. She is soothing, analgesic, and calming.

Motherwort:
To invoke the Mother. Ruled by Venus, cultures have used Motherwort long over to honour the goddesses of fertility and as protective wards to protect pregnant mothers and their unborn children. She has a strong affinity for the heart, for creativity, and has historically been used for menstruation and cramps. She is a nervine, a relaxant, and has antispasmodic qualities.

Mugwort:
To invoke the Crone. Mugwort is the grandmother, the wise crone energy that guards the liminal spaces. A women’s herb, she is governed by the goddess Artemis, is known as the midwife and has long been used to regulate menstruation and to ease inflammation and pain. She walks with us in the shadows, illuminates our intuition and sharpens psychic powers.

Combined with the soothing and anti-inflammatory qualities of marshmallow root, these are extracted into cold-pressed black sesame oil - revered in Ayurveda for its warming qualities. This extract is mixed with a smaller amount of castor oil, which some use to alleviate pain and inflammation.

Comes in a 100ml amber dropper bottle.

Due to the nature of the extraction method I use, this oil contains trace amounts of organic vodka. These are mostly warmed off after processing but some may still remain.

All herbs and oils are organic, apart from the mugwort which is homegrown in my garden.
